Christians,
A lot of times we wonder how can the wicked seem to prosper while we are going through hard times. It seems like they get this great life while we struggle. Asaph had these very same feelings:
(Psalms 73:3) "For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked."
However, he later gained understanding by drawing nearer to God:
(Psalms 73:17-19) "Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. {18} Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. {19} How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors."
Then he felt like a fool for ever envying the wicked.
(Psalms 73:21-22) "Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. {22} So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee."
Conclusion
Christians. Just remember that some times the wicked will prosper while you are suffering even while being as obedient to God as you can. When this happens do not worry about it. Your response should NOT be to envy or be jealous at that person. Instead your response should be to draw closer to God. That means reading his word more, serving more, praying more. Just keep your eyes up, gazing toward heaven. That is where you are going end up and all these temporary problems may be facing now will be short-lived and gone before you know it.
(Proverbs 26:10) "The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors."
How To Get Saved
If you are not saved yet by Jesus Christ for all of eternity, God wants you to know that you can be. It doesn't matter who you are or what you've done. God loves us so much he gave his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins on the cross even though we don't even deserve it. He was then buried for 3 days, and then gloriously resurrected 3 days later.
This is what the Bible says about how you can be saved:
(Acts 16:30-31) "And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? {31} And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
