A Secret To Living A Better Life
Did you know that people often times let their pride overrule actual success? Take this example from the book of Daniel. Notice that the king acknowledges that Daniel and company were WAY wiser than all his magicians and astrologers.
(Daniel 1:20) "And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm."
As a side note, I want to point out that the only reason Daniel and Co. had this great wisdom and understanding is because God gave it to them.
(Daniel 1:17) "¶ As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams."
Now back to the king. So if you have access to a bunch of really wise men wouldn't you think to go to them the next time you have a question? However, that's not what this king did. He went right back to the stupid people again only 3 verses later:
(Daniel 2:2) "Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king."
Of course, you can probably guess the result. The stupid people failed, and lied to cover their failure.
(Daniel 2:10) "¶ The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean."
Next, the king orders all wise men to be killed. He didn't even want to give a chance to Daniel and his friends even though the king had already acknowledged them to be 10 times smarter than his magicians and sorcerers that fail.
(Daniel 2:13) "And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain."
Don't we see this today too? I am always amazed at how people turn down advice from people who have success in a matter at hand.
Instead, they use advice from people who constantly fail. I saw this many times during the Covid era. I have never once had Covid. I didn't wear masks, I shook hands and hugged people, and certainly never took one jab. In other words, I kept living my life normally as if Covid didn’t exist.
I would think people would want to hear the secret to my 100% success rate, but instead they preferred to listen to people like Dr. Fauci who had a proven track record of failure in the matter.
Quit looking at the credentials of someone telling you something. Instead, let success and failure of what someone says be your measure. Listening to people who get results is one of the secrets to live a better life. It's not that hard to do. It just requires you set your pride aside.

How To Get Saved
If you are not saved yet by Jesus Christ for all of eternity, God wants you to know that you can be. It doesn't matter who you are or what you've done. God loves us so much he gave his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins on the cross even though we don't even deserve it. He was then buried for 3 days, and then gloriously resurrected 3 days later.
This is what the Bible says about how you can be saved:
(Acts 16:30-31) "And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? {31} And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
